This phrase is short and simple, but deeply profound.  These words radiate with the Father's loving compassion which He limitlessly pours out upon His people.  For our God is Holy and the epitome of pureness and truth; but we in our own flesh are completely void, corruptible, vile, and evil.  This is why this phrase is so prolific, because there is an infinite discrepancy between the Lord's righteousness and our utter baseness and complete unrighteousness.  Yet the Father's mercy, compassion, and love pass all these failures on our part and meet us with His beautiful and wondrous, forgiveness and joy.  CHRIST JESUS is the complete embodiment of the LORD's favour and grace; as if the Father captured all His boundless glorious light † and then pinpointed it into one concentrated laser beam: this is the light we've received in Christ! ††
